The New York Islanders’ 2026-27 season officially gets underway on Sept. 30, and with the season opener now less than a month away, hockey is right around the corner.
Rookie camp and training camp will open in the coming weeks, giving us our first real look at Pete DeBoer’s team and some of the battles, changes, and storylines that will shape the season ahead.
