EAST MEADOW, NY — New York Islanders forward and alternate captain Bo Horvat knows the importance of rallying together when losing a leader.

During his time with the Vancouver Canucks, he had to say goodbye to legends and Hockey Hall of Famers Henrik and Daniel Sedin.

I spoke with Horvat on that experience, how he and his teammates are stepping up to fill the Brock Nelson hole, what it’s been like playing with Kyle Palmieri, and how the injured Mathew Barzal is doing:
