When you’re hot, you’re hot — and right now, New York Islanders alternate captain Bo Horvat is on a heater.

After going the first three games of the regular season without a goal and just two assists, Horvat has erupted for 11 goals in his last 12 games, tying him for the third-most red lights in the NHL.

“It’s just a matter of my getting into those scoring areas, but at the same time bearing down when I have those opportunities,” Horvat said about his hot start. “And yeah, I’m just trying to put the puck in that whenever I can. And thankfully, they’re going in right now. I just got to continue to do that.”
