EN ROUTE FROM TAMPA TO SUNRISE — New York Islanders defenseman Adam Boqvist knows a thing or two about winning a Stanley Cup because he’s seen it first hand.

His brother, Jesper Boqvist, won the Stanley Cup with the Florida Panthers last season, the team Adam started the 2024-25 campaign with.

I sat down with Boqvist to discuss what it was like watching his brother win, what he learned about the mentality it takes to win, and how Mathieu Darche’s belief in culture fits the mold of a Stanley Cup team.
