We are going to receive a boost there after NCAA season. We need a RHD like Weager to hold down that side with Pulock for the next four years. This would enable us to restock that side of the D while contending for a cup. Totally against trading any prospects. Using draft capital at this point is preferable.
Weekend back to back is huge. Hope Horvat is playing ! I think it will give the entire team a boost! Sweep 🧹 the two games and that sends a message to Darche. One move to strengthen the RHD situation would also send a message back to the team.
Rittich outright stole that game on the 23rd. I was there and he was nothing short of spectacular. After last year’s goaltending debacle, his play has been a huge part of our success. 💯 I would offer to do a one year maybe two at a low AAV. Varley should keep working hard, if he does get back it adds depth. He may never be activated regardless. Hogberg wasn’t terrible before his injury last year. However Big Save Dave has been great on the ice and off. Darche made a very shrewd move that may have made the difference between making the playoffs and not. We get outstanding performances from both goalies nightly. Guys seem to fit into the locker room very easily. With that and the type of ownership, along with UBS and the talent coming the Island is attractive again.
