EAST MEADOW, NY — New York Islanders forward Calum Ritchie has been up with the team since Oct. 31 and has really established himself as a bright young player for this organization.

The 20-year-old may only have 10 points over his first 31 games with the club, with six goals and four assists. But as of late, he’s caught fire a bit. He’s got two goals over his last three games and seems to be playing a confident brand of hockey.

Following Monday’s practice, I caught up with Ritchie to talk about how he’s feeling right now, who he’s relied on in the room the most, and more:
