The biggest question entering the offseason is what the New York Islanders plan to do with Anders Lee.

The soon-to-be 36-year-old, who has served as the captain since the start of the 2018-19 season, is a pending free agent after completing the final season of his seven-year deal worth $7 million annually.

Both sides want to reach an extension; that much seems true.
