EAST MEADOW, NY — It took a little bit for New York Islanders’ newcomer Brayden Schenn to get acclimated to his new team, but he’s found a bit of a groove as of late.
Schenn, who has 10 points (five goals, five assists) in 13 games since joining the Islanders, is currently riding a three-game point streak into Friday night’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers, wth three goals and three assists for six points over that span.
Mathew Barzal, who Schenn has been on a line with for 11 of his 13 games since joining the Islanders, has had the primary assist on two of those three goals.
Schenn has 10 points (five goals, five assists) in 13 games with the Islanders.
As of late, the two have taken strides as linemates, understanding one another’s games a bit more. It does help that the two of them knew each other prior to the trade.
