Islanders Battle Capitals, Martin's Final Home Game? Lines & Notes
Alexander Romanov will not play.

Give Patrick a Five Year Contract as GM and the reins with a mandate to go win a Cup. He is qualified and we love the dude. If the candy asses in the locker room don’t like it too bad!
Lou has had plenty of time to prove himself in the GM role. His smartest move was Barry! Drafting hasn’t been bad at all Holmstrom Ratty Eiserman etc. Where he has been a complete disaster is the contracts and AAV. He has grossly overestimated this roster. He has no excuses in this area. Putting his son in charge of Bridgeport, talk about a nepo baby. He also surrounds himself with yes men. Maybe that’s why he doesn’t like Patrick! Patrick sent Engvall packing at Training Camp, dude should have never been back. Why was he back, because Lou didn’t want to look ridiculous. Lou should have know Tin man has no heart. Physical talent means nothing if you don’t have pride balls and courage. Love Scotty to death, but you should know better than to sign him to that monstrous deal. Some things are not on Lou. Dobson was brought along perfectly. He only has himself to blame, physically weak and plays a soft ass game. Varley another questionable resign. Hogberg has been fine. I’ll give him credit on Romanov 100%! Lou is not a disaster, but he has made enough moves for us to know he is not the Man. Toews could have been retained instead of Leddy. A GM cannot bat .500!
