Islanders Lineup vs. Kraken & Notes
The Islanders play the third game of their five-game road trip in the Emerald City, riding a five-game point streak (3-0-2).
SEATTLE— Coming off their best performance of the 2024-25 season, the New York Islanders battle the Seattle Kraken at 4 PM ET.
Ilya Sorokin (4-3-3, 2.66 GAA, .915 SV%) looks for his 100th career victory. He’s been elite against the Kraken over his career, owning a 2-1-1 with a 1.48 GAA and .950 SV%, making 29 saves in a shootout loss in their last meeting.
The Kraken, who are riding a three-game winning streak, are going back to Joey Daccord (7-3-1, 2.55 GAA, .918 SV%) for a fourth straight start. He is 3-0-0 with a 1.99 GAA and a .928 SV% over his last three games and has never faced the Islanders in his career.
Alexander Romanov will miss his seventh straight game. He is day-to-day with a lower-body injury but is no longer practicing in a non-contact jersey.
Noah Dobson is two points shy of 200 for his career, while Islanders captain Anders Lee is an assist shy of 200 helpers for his career.

Gotta love Patty’s thoughts on the goaltender Interference. Leave it to the NHL to screw it up. Guy skates into the crease without any contact stays there, and bumbs the goaltender. It’s kinda sad how many times they get it wrong. Bottomline we need to take it out of the refs hands and start burying these high danger chances.
Bad bad breaks and terrible interference not called. Team headed in the right direction 100%. I don’t know how you improve finish I guess continue to crash the net. If team plays like this the rest of the year they will make the playoffs.
