ELMONT, NY — The New York Islanders host the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night.
There is no update on forward Anthony Duclair, who is out long-term with a lower-body injury.
After Julien Gauthier had passed through waivers, Liam Foudy was recalled from Bridgeport of the American Hockey League and will make his Islanders debut on the fourth line with Kyle MacLean and Oliver Wahlstrom.
Known for his speed, Foudy has exceptional hockey IQ that should please Patrick Roy.
Foudy, who has 102 games of NHL experience, last played an NHL game on Dec. 2, 23, earning assists against the New York Rangers.
For more on that, check out this story at The Hockey News.
Here’s the Islanders lineup:
Holmstrom-Horvat-Barzal
Tsyplakov-Nelson-Palmieri
Lee-Pageau-Cizikas
Foudy-MacLean-Wahlstrom
Romanov-Dobson
Pelech-Pulock
Reilly-Mayfield
Sorokin
Varlamov
*Puck drop will be at 7:45 PM, not 7 PM, due to the game being part of NHL Frenzy
