I honestly think Barzel started to turn the corner last year. He seemed very different as far as attacking the net. He didn’t finish nearly as many as he should’ve, but none the less he was getting inside. I do think Barzel will have an outstanding year. It doesn’t hurt to be flanked by Schenn. I would be happy if Eiserman somehow forces his way on Line 1 or 2 with Barzel. Let’s be honest he has not been the player we expected. Is he dynamic and fun yes, but the goal scoring hasn’t been there. Maturing takes time sometimes, his best years are still ahead. DeBoer has a tremendous amount of credibility! I expect a Barry like bounce from the entire team. Everyone feels those kids coming, competition raises everyone’s level. I wouldn’t sleep on this team they not only have some talent throughout the lineup, but the kids are a phone call away. Tremendous depth in an 84 game season, I have zero idea why we are playing two more games whatever!

Ownership and Management of the Islanders are in great hands 🙌 We need to incorporate the youth and get into the Playoffs. Both goals are attainable.
The Organization is First Class, but the On Ice Product needs to Win! Everything else is now in place it’s the last piece!
