Kind of silly to allude to 30 minutes earlier being the difference between being an absurd hour or not, but for me to come from Westchester the 30 minutes was very helpful
The Islanders are a Complete Wild Card. No one can predict what their season will become. If I had to predict I think they jell and make the playoffs and surprise a lot of people. The mix on the team is good, and a lot of these players have a lot to prove themselves. Young guys want to make the money. Older guys want to extend their careers. Head Coach has to win regardless of the hand he is holding. I expect a lot of highly motivated players. They all know Darche ain’t married or emotionally invested, until you perform for him.
It will be interesting to evaluate Barzel Horvat Sorokin. You are the linchpins go out and elevate your team. Individually have your most productive seasons, but also lead inspire. This season will tell you all you need to know about them. Are they just talented players or are they players that can elevate the team. Barzel at 28 he has to prove he can be more than flash and potential. Can he skate into the teeth of the defense in the high danger areas and score. Can Sorokin be lights out with improved total team defense. Can Bo have a career year, he already has proven himself in those intangible areas.
They have to come out of the Gate and hang up a 10-2-2. This is the kind of team that needs to vibe immediately!!! They also need to outwork and over perform like they did early on in Barry’s tenure. We will know what we have pretty quickly. As those first 12 go so goes the season.
Dude it’s a tough slog on that Belt Parkway! I don’t know if Mr. Darche really knows the traffic situation Lol 😂! All good just Win Baby Win like Al Davis said, then you can play the games anytime you want.

Not sure this is a good thing starting at 7pm instead of 7:30pm. Most people work and we can see many empty seats to start of the games. JMO
