Islanders Now Have Competition In General Manager Search With Blake Out In Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Kings join the New York Islanders as the two teams in need of a new general manager.

As of Monday morning, the New York Islanders were the only team in the National Hockey League with a general manager vacancy. However, that changed when the Los Angeles Kings announced that they have mutually parted ways with general manager Rob Blake.

This complicates things for the Islanders in a few ways.
