The Islanders’ offense is evolving. From rush chances to a revived forecheck-and-cycle game, New York is showing a true dual-threat attack despite a loss in Colorado.
All good things must come to an end. Despite shutting down the NHL’s best team for a majority of the game, they were unable to seize their chances, falling 4-1 to the Colorado Avalanche to see their four-game winning streak come to an end.
