MASSAPEQUA, NY — On Saturday, New York Islanders forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau hit the DEK Superstars Rink for skills training, autographs, and pictures, working with children ages 4-13.

This event helped raise money for the Connor Kasin Memorial Foundation in honor of a 17-year-old Massapequa Varsity hockey player who passed away after a medical episode on the ice on Nov. 30, 2024.

Three items were auctioned off as well — a puck from Pageau’s first NHL game with the Ottawa Senators, an Islander’s game puck, as well as a signed Pageau banner — for a tremendous $500.
