The team has been resilient all year, let’s not panic. 82 Games! The future is bright and the direction is clear. We carry some players on this roster that haven’t produced all year. Can Darche dip into Bridgeport for a Foudy or George? They both skate better and have had productive years in the AHL. What a great year so far would love to see them make the playoffs. Honestly it comes down to winning at UBS strangely enough. We have never established Home Ice Advantage, let’s see if they can down the stretch. What an atmosphere this weekend in Montreal and home against the CBJ. We win both no one is talking about Ottawa. Bold, Swagger, Compassionate, Patty has really hit the correct note with this team.
Hope your right about this weekend. I seriously mean that. I've seen enough of this team the last few years to expect LESS than a 60 min game effort, an embarrassingly pathetic pp and a lack of physicality. All that means is I expect two reg losses this weekend.
I was unable to watch the whole game. I saw that they definitely showed up physically with Lee and Schenn’s fights. Yes it’s frustrating I get it, but I think they will be fine
Showing up physically means more than just dropping the gloves charles. Ottowa outhit them 29-19. So overall, ottowa had a lot more physicality to the game than the islanders. Thats not the way to win.
