Patrick Roy has been fired, with two seasons left on his deal. It was evident his message wasn’t resonating — not nearly enough. Honestly, a veteran team bolstered even further before the 2026 NHL Trade Deadline shouldn’t require extra motivation from a Hockey Hall of Famer, but I digress.
