ELMONT, NY — After falling 4-2 to the Detroit Red Wings on Monday, the New York Islanders host the Boston Bruins to conclude a three-game homestand.
Ilya Sorokin (5-5-3, 2.52 GAA, .917 SV%) will get the start for the Islanders. He earned his 100th career win on Saturday against the St. Louis Blues with 24 saves in the win.
Against Boston, he is 2-2-2 with a 2.40 GAA and .917 SV%, most recently making 22 saves in a winning effort in their last meeting.
Joonas Korpisalo (4-2-1, 2.38 GAA, .911 SV%) starts for the Bruins after Jeremy Swayman got the nod against the Vancouver Canucks, in a 2-0 loss.
He is 5-5-3 with a 2.71 GAA and .919 SV% against the Islanders.
