Hudson Fasching returns today in place of Matt Martin. Semyon Varlamov starts.
With Thanksgiving in the books, the New York Islanders (8-10-5) return to action for a Black Friday matinee against the Washington Capitals (15-6-1).
Puck drop at CapitalsOne Arena is scheduled for 3:00 p.m., and the game can be found on MSGSN.
The two teams split their four-game season series last season, starting with Semyon Varlamov pitching a shutout in a 3-0 win in their first meeting on Nov. 2.
