Islanders Without Romanov vs. Penguins: Lines & Notes
Romanov will miss the game due to illness.
After a thrilling comeback over the Florida Panthers on Sunday, the New York Islanders (30-28-8) meet Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins (28-31-10) for the final time this season.
Puck drop at PPG Paints Arena is scheduled for 7:00, and the game can be found on MSGSN.
The Islanders and Penguins last met at the end of December in a home-and-home set. In the back end, New York dropped a 3-2 final despite a late comeback push. The Penguins jumped out to a 3-0 lead with goals in each period of play. Anders Lee and Bo Horvat scored in the third to make it a one-goal game, but it was too late for the Islanders to finish the comeback.
The Islanders will be without Alexander Romanov due to illness. They will get Adam Pelech back after he took a puck off the right skate last Saturday.
