New York Islanders prospect and Boston University forward Cole Eiserman is not supposed to be friendly with anyone on the Boston College side. However, he has a tremendous relationship with BC forward and Long Island native James Hagens.

The two played together for two years in the USHL with the United States National Development team, winning gold at the 2025 World Junior Championships and also winning gold at the U17 & U18 tournaments.

The two are best buds, and while Hagens may not go to the Islanders at No. 1, there’s no question that finding a way to land the Long Island native and have him become a dynamic duo with Eiserman would be something special.

I spoke with Cole about Hagens on and off the ice, and more!
