Exclusive Interview With Prospect Danny Nelson

Nelson will be heading back to the University of Notre Dame for his junior season.

University of Notre Dame center and New York Islanders prospect, Danny Nelson, just wrapped up his sophomore campaign.

The 19-year-old finished the 2024-25 season with 26 points (13 goals, 13 assists) in 36 games, setting career highs in both goals and points. He won 471 face-offs, the fourth most in the NCAA, with a 57.2% win rate at the dot.
