Rosner: What I'm Hearing As Islanders Continue GM Search

It's been almost a full month since the Islanders began their GM search.

It’s been almost a month since the New York Islanders' announcement that Lou Lamoriello’s tenure as president and general manager will end when his contract expires.

As mentioned numerous times, the Islanders were never going to rush this. This summer, more so after winning the 2025 NHL Draft Lottery, is the most critical offseason since the Islanders bought in Lamoriello following the 2017-18 season.

So, with no official moves being made since Apr. 22, here’s what I’ve heard.
