It’s A New Islanders Game After 60 In 2025–26
The Islanders improved to 6-0-0 in games decided in overtime after Bo Horvat beat Skinner in the extra frame on Tuesdy night.

In 2024–25, the Islanders lost nine of the 14 games that were decided in overtime.
But things have changed in the extra frame for the Islanders here in 2025-26.
After Bo Horvat’s top-shelf tally at the 52-second mark of overtime for a 5-4 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Islanders improved to 6-0-0 in games decided by overtime this season.
