Islanders Altering DNA, Raising Standard During Magical Season
The Islanders' resiliency isn't something that came out of nowhere.
LOS ANGELES — The New York Islanders have been comeback kids lately.
They’ve found themselves down 2-0 in each of their last three games, yet found a way to win all of them. They beat the Montreal Canadiens and Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 in overtime before knocking off the Florida Panthers 5-4 in regulation.
It’s a culmination of hard work and dedication to the mental side of the game, keeping the belief and trust in the process, the gameplan.
