There’s been a lot thrown around about New York Islanders defenseman Noah Dobson over the last 48 hours. Frank Seravalli reported that the 25-year-old pending RFA asked for $11 million annually, with Elliotte Friedman reporting that the Islanders are testing the market to see his worth.

Here’s the latest, which provides some clarity on the situation. As I mentioned in my Free Friday column, I don’t believe Dobson’s ask was as high as $11 million. I think it’s somewhere around $10 million.

Here’s what I do know.
