New York Islanders fans wake up on Monday morning in disbelief.

It wasn't necessarily because they lost to the elite Dallas Stars after two weeks off while Pete DeBoer’s squad played the night before. It’s more about how they lost, with Casey Cizikas being what appears to be wrongfully ejected and turning the game on its side.

While that wasn’t ideal, the Islanders “paid the price.” But a lot happened in this game. Let’s get to three positives and three negatives.
