NEWARK, NJ — New York Islanders forward prospect Cole Eiserman forced overtime before playing hero in Sunday’s 5-4 win over the New Jersey Devils prospects.
Both goals showcased the release that has made Eiserman one of the organization’s most dangerous shooting prospects.
His first was a quick snap shot through the five-hole late in the third period to tie the game. Then, in overtime, Eiserman used a slight toe-drag before depositing the puck under the glove of Devils netminder Jakub Malek for the winner.
